New Sneakers.

Alan has also determined its time for some new sneakers for me (that's tires for you non-car people.)  So today we get the older fronts replaced. That should keep us safe for the next few months travel. Got a good deal from the Michelin FMCA advantage program.  Saved more than enough to pay for the removal, balancing and install.  Since I have always been wearing Michelins with good results, I am happy to get some new ones!

Scheduled an early morning appointment at Boulevard Tire Center in Deland FL.(www.boulevardtire.com)   They had the tires in stock and once we got there did a very efficient change over.  No waiting, no issues, good job and

 great service.



The plan is to replace the rears (which are 3 years newer!)  next March before our planned epic trip to Alaska. Hopefully we can keep the best one of the rear takeoffs as a spare for that trip, as we don't expect all baby smooth pavement once we get to the last frontier!  A replacement tire might be hard to come by, so best we take one with us as insurance.
