So Alan wonders- why do people come to TGO in Titusville for the winter? (latitude 28° 30" 48.8664'N) It may be warm to the Canadians and those from Michigan and the like, but he wants to go further south for the month of Dec. Ok with me! So the target is mile marker Zero- Key West Fl. I cant go any further south than that! Turns out that most places are booked up already, so we grab a spot through New Years about 58 miles up the road in Grassy Key. (www.GrassyKeyRVPark.com) Looks like a small relaxing place, but within easy ride to attractions both north and south.
Well then things get crazy... Word must be out that our plans are always made in Jello....
One neighbor on the street is looking for a house rental for some Canadian friends- a deal is made for two months... so we start scrambling for more places to go. World travels fast and the next thing you know, the homestead is rented for Feb too! More time on the road with me!
So it looks like 6 weeks in Grassy Key, and then on up to a neat little place in Cedar Key, over to my old stomping grounds at Daytona for the Rolex 24hr races, back down for a few weeks in St Pete at a neat state park with a great beach for Major, then to Sarasota to the Airstream Rally where we will introduce Harvest Hosts (www.harvesthosts.com) to the Silver Bullet crowd.
