A shopping trip for me. Alan and Bev have decided to take us on short trip over to Tampa to the Florida RV Supershow- a 5 day extravganza- billed as the largest RV show in the US- 1200 new RVs on display -but I am not worried- they won't find anything better ( maybe fancier and more expensive for sure) or more unique than me- as there just arent any more skydecks! There will also be over 400 vendors selling everything we dont need, but hopefully a few upgrades we do want. Maybe some upgrades to LED lighting for the interior, a new cooktop and maybe even a dishwaher drawer to replace my virgin oven. I am sure we will find some new products to keep me healthy and young looking....
So we reserved a parking spot down in Clearwater- www.clearwatertravelresort.net The name is fancier than the place- a mix of year rounders with some tourists like us. But it is only two blocks from the beach! Alan & Bev left Major with me and went to dinner with some CT friends at "Carettas"(named after the loggerhead turtle) at the Sandpearl Resort in downtown clearwater. www.sandpearl.com Reports back are very great food, upscale atmosphere, attentive service and great view overlooking the Gulf- but you pay handsomely for that! For sure, its not the usual beachside, barefoot cafe they normally seekout.
Tomorrow they head to the Supershow to get some shopping done for me. Christmas time for me!
