Gafney Service Oasis

So after the Bonnaroo party was over, we head towards the Freightliner Oasis Custom Chassis Factory Service Center in Gafney S.C.    This is a cool place where I get the best care from the best trained mechanics- after all the freightliner chassis factory is just down the road.  They even have hookups in the parking lot where we stay until its our turn for service. I am scheduled for the big one- the M3. A complete physical, generator service, new belts and fluids, transmission service,  brake service, etc.  Even though I am running just fine, with 71K miles on my clock, it time for a good going over as both Alan and I wants to continue to have trouble free travel- and we hope to log some serious miles in the next few months.

While I get attended to, Alan has to fly to CT for a day and then fly back here.   Bev will pick him up at the nearby Charlotte airport and he and Bev decide to let me hang out here and relax for a week or so, while they drive my Jeep buddy to TGO and back just to pick up Major so he can join us for the rest of our travels.   At least I get a short vacation and get to meet who ever else is coming for service.  The way it looks today, everybody from TGO comes here!  The lobby is full of TGO residents!  Bev even makes a new friends with a nearby neighbor.

Best news of all is that I check out just fine! I think the Alan might have a heart attach from the service invoice- but a little preventive  maintenance is a lot better than surgery-as he well knows!
