Guy time at the Races!

Bev had to go up north for some family business, so Alan, Major and I get some Guy time and use it to camp out at Daytona for the Rolex 24 hr race.  We hung out  in the  parking lot just outside Turn 1 where we met some cool guys- and another (newer) VW Bus parks next to us- I seem to attract them! Also saw another Skydeck, but she had been relegated to the rental pool (Trinity rentals) She certainly doesn't have her own blog or get the personal attention, care and feeding like I do!  This is the same coach we saw a few years ago at the Taladega Nascar race.

-  Anyway we have a relaxing few days doing some barbecuing on my outside grill, entertaining some visitors from up North and just hanging out etc. Alan also met up with Mike Cesario who was handling the marketing for a Ferrari Challenge Team, so Alan got access to the pit road and the paddock area.  Some cool Ferraris for sure.  Some cool blondes as well.... As usual Major made a ton of friends and even helped out security  each morning greeting campers at the gate. He and Alan met up with an Airstream dealer parked in the infield who had a new Airstream/Mercedes based van on display.  Of course Major got the royal treatment, a blanket to lay on and his own water.  A nice few days and then headed back south to TGO.
